Zebra Centaur
I dunno if it's been done before, but I came up with this and I don't know how or why.

I might make it a T-shirt on redbubble.. not sure.

Lightboxed this sketch in pencil, inked with a nib, on bristol board.

yeah, really shouldn't have said anything.. though my comment sounded a bit jerkish. I think the inked drawing is really well done, don't get me wrong.

I dunno, i'm likely pretty out of touch with what sells in t-shirts. I'm too picky for my own good with those.

I've never seen this done before. But it's a great idea. Have you considered bringing the ref. down just above the zebra's shoulder? I think it would look more like a centaur. He seems a bit high. I'm also curious what this would look like without the waist separation. What if the shirt stripes morphed into the zebra stripes? Either way, this is a great drawing.

You mean like this? Does look more accurate.
Cause there aren't any rules on this sorta thing I went for my version more on the design on the overall image rather than acurate anatomy. Makes him look a bit more iposing my way. I wasn't sure exactly how big a zebra is compared to a human.

And this is a quick rough sketch I just did on how I picture his stripes would look under the shirt. I didn't want to make his shirt exactly line up with the zebra stripes . Intentionally wanted it to be complete opposite, and not perfectly melded.

yes. this looks better. his proportions look more accurate in the pencil sketch than he does in the final version. it seems like the man is about 15% too small. But where he's sitting on the zebra looks great. I'm being really nit picky because this is great as is. I just really like this and am trying to help a bit. Cheers.
