FreQee Exhibition.
The Opening was last night and by the looks of it, It was a great turn out. Big congrats to Brett & Giles.

I missed one, Apologies to Billie Weston. =(
Ok, I suck, I just realised I didn't include Scott Beattie's here also. Grr, fuck, sorry.
I have this saved at higher res, but it seems too big for any of the free image hosters. If anyone knows anywhere that can host something, umm, 5mb pics, lemme know. If you want it though, I can send it to ya.
Fuck you photobucket, DeviantArt to the rescue. Click here for the High res pic version.
They set up two little platforms for them all, it was always a bit of an effort to get a gander.

People were complaining about how it was set up, and I have to agree. It shoulda neen in a 'U' shape against the railing cause it was just too squashed together, and they should have been higher up. The inevitable happend, and unfourtunately 1337's got knocked over.
Some of my favs..

I don't who this is, but gosh it's pretty.

Edit: Oops, I left out Dan Gibbs' awesome one.

Ben C

Another person I don't know, but damn that's cool.

toiletcity, aka Will Kelly's effort was kinda hard to see cause it was in the second row, but know that I see it clear in the pic and whoa, He's got rocks inside and out.

toniaw's lovely surreal work

stikmancomics' beautifully detailed art, being looked on by an admirer.

jaseh's rocking bunee, which I would have totally bought the shit out of if I had money.

What a cute pair, and I ain't referring to the couple.
Very clever use of having her body on backwards. These art cats are so damn creative.

Vomit is a heavy burden.

1337's was disgustingly awsome
But unfortunately it then got knocked over.
Yes, this was the before photo.

Brett, our lovely Co-host, was happy to play cleaner.
I think it was that little girl that knocked it over..Pfft, kids at a Toy exhibition..what's up with that?
Only complaints was how it was set out, which I suspect was a powerhouse thing. I didn't attend Dex last year, but I'm told it was set out better. I don't know why galleries insist on having objects at shin height. If it had been up to me, they would have been on petistals, with velvet ropes and lasers that cut off any limbs that get too close. Like that scene in Resident Evil..
I had a few beers, said howdy to brisbane comics folk again, which are always a delight, and didn't embarass myself ,so all in all it was an ok night.
I wonder what these boys will come up with next... Bowling pins maybe? Or maybe a go kart race?
